Difference between Linux and Unix

Hello friends !
today we are going to talk about difference between Linux and Unix operating system.
do you ever thought that what is the difference between both operating system. if no then lets talk about them.
 first we talk about linux and then unix

  1.  linux is a free operating system widly used for computer hardware and software and game        development  for PC's,tablet etc. and normally cheaper than windows.
  2.  it support file system like FAT,NTFS file system.and linux kernel is devleoped by community  Linus Torvalds oversees things.
  3.  Linux can be uses by anyone and also its is widely used in industries.
  4. there are many example of linux operating system like Ubantu,fadora,radhet, android etc.
  5. Linux architecture Originally developed for Intel's x86 hardware, ports available for over two dozen CPU types including ARM.
 Now Unix operating system :
 

  1.      Unix is an operating system that is very popular in Universities,big companies and     enterprises etc.
  2.  Unix is available in different flavor and each flavor has its own cost according to vendors.
  3. Intially Unix is command based OS but later a GUI is created called comman desktop Enviroment. Most distributors now ship Unix with GNOME.
  4. some free Unix os is available but there support demands a cost for example  Solaris.
  5. Example of Unix operating system is all type of linux , Solaris,OS X etc.
  6. it support jfs, gpfs, hfs, hfs+, ufs, xfs, zfs format type of file system.
